FA6LIT makes it easy!

FA6LIT replaces an Android phone's screen with big, clear cards. Tap "Call", say "Call Mary", and new messages appear in large print and are read aloud.

$8.99 · 15-day free trial, then a one-time purchase. No subscription.

Everything that matters, in large print. Nothing else.

FA6LIT does not replace your apps: it puts them within finger's reach, in words everyone understands.

Big cards, nothing else

Call, Messages, Contacts, Gallery, Weather… Each card has its own colour and word, written large. No tiny icons, no hidden menus. Keep your finger on a card and slide it: the most useful ones move to the top.

Talk to the phone

Tap the yellow button and say "Call Mary", "Read my messages" or "What time is it?". The phone makes the call or answers out loud.

Messages come to you

A text or a WhatsApp message arrives: it shows up large on the home screen. "Listen" reads it aloud, "Reply" answers without hunting for the app. New emails and missed calls are counted on their card.

No more getting lost

The Home button always brings you back to the same screen, even after a restart. Here, you cannot break anything.

Help is on the screen

The Help card shows every button and says what it does, in one sentence. Just tap the line to open it.

The call fills the screen

When the phone rings, FA6LIT takes over the screen: the name in large letters, a big green button to answer, a smaller red one to decline. Nothing else to look for.

A voice assistant, with nothing to learn

Tap the big yellow "Speak" button and simply say what you want. FA6LIT understands everyday sentences and answers out loud.

"Call Mary"
  • "Call Mary"Says "Calling Mary", gives three seconds to cancel, then calls. Add "on speaker" to talk without holding the phone, or "on WhatsApp" for a WhatsApp call.
  • "Send a message to Mary"Opens FA6LIT's own writing screen for Mary: a big Dictate button, Read back aloud, then Send. Nothing goes out without that tap.
  • "Write an email to Mary"Opens a new email to Mary: you write it (or dictate with the keyboard microphone), then tap Send.
  • "Wake me up at 7"Sets the phone's alarm for that time.
  • "Read my messages"Reads your new texts and WhatsApp messages aloud: who is writing, and what they say.
  • "Read my emails"For new emails: says who wrote to you, and how the email begins.
  • "Who called me?"Says who tried to call you, as long as the missed call is still shown on the phone.
  • "What time is it?"Tells the time; "battery" says how much is left.
  • "Open Facebook"Opens any app on the phone by its name: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, the bank…
  • "The weather"Opens the card you ask for: gallery, alarm, internet… And "I'm lost" opens Help.

To read messages, emails and missed calls, FA6LIT needs notification access, allowed once. To reply, the Dictate button writes down what you say — you read it back, then you send.

For people who don't like phones. And for the people who help them.

An ordinary Android phone that becomes simple, without buying a new phone.

Seniors

Calling, seeing family photos, reading messages, without fighting the phone. FA6LIT gives exactly that.

People who hate smartphones

Too many icons, menus and updates? Here it's one word per card, large print, and messages read aloud.

A first smartphone

No jargon: "Internet", "Alarm", "Gallery". And always a way back.

You, setting it up

A few minutes to set everything up, and far fewer "the screen changed, I broke everything" calls.

And for their safety: SOSBY

FA6LIT makes the phone simple. SOSBY, from the same publisher, looks out for the person: after a fall, a faint or in danger, their loved ones are alerted straight away.

Already on the home screen

The red SOSBY card sits on FA6LIT's home screen: one tap opens SOSBY, or introduces it if it isn't installed yet.

Seven presses, loved ones alerted

Seven presses on the power button, even with the phone in a pocket: loved ones get the location, photos and sound, and it rings at their end even on silent.

Falls detected

If the person falls and doesn't get up, a 30-second countdown lets them cancel, then the alert goes out by itself.

SOSBY is a separate app, with its own 15-day free trial and then a subscription.

What's on the phone stays on the phone

FA6LIT reads messages to show them in large print. It doesn't keep them, and doesn't send them anywhere.

No account

No name, email address or phone number to give.

No ads, no trackers

No analytics, no profiling, and no cookies on this website.

As few permissions as possible

No microphone for the app, no precise location, no call log. Your texts are read on the phone because FA6LIT becomes your Messages app: they never leave it.

"Mum will never manage."

It's made for her: one word per card, one gesture per action, and a button that always takes you back to the start.

"What if he taps anywhere?"

The home screen comes back with one tap. And FA6LIT only calls when asked: it says the name and gives three seconds to cancel.

"Another subscription…"

No. Fifteen days to try it, then a single purchase. Nothing to cancel.

A few minutes, once and for all

This is not an emergency service

FA6LIT makes the phone simpler, but nobody is watching behind the app. In an emergency, call 112 (911 in the US).
